This is a 1 year course designed for people wanting to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of Equine Management and Enterprise, with a focus on Leadership and Management. Modules may include: Research Project, Horse Husbandry, Animal Health and Welfare, Human Resource Management, Business Environment, Estate and Yard Management, Event Management, Managing the Breeding of Horses. HND - This 2 year course builds on modules studies in the HNC to further develop skills, knowledge and understanding of specialist Business and Land Management subjects with an application to the Equine Industry whilst still focussing on Leadership and Management. Modules may include: Work Based Experience, Enterprise and Financial Management, Grassland Management, Land Use Issues and Regulation, Teaching a Specialist Subject, Principles of Stud Management, Environmental Management and Animal Husbandry Management.
