The course consists of the following four units. 001: Roles, responsibilities and relationships in the lifelong learning sector Assessment: Write a case study of a teacher's role. Write a reflective journal entry. Credit Value: 3 002: Understanding inclusive learning and teaching in the lifelong learning sector Assessment: Investigate inclusive learning, collate ideas on how it can be made effective for a range of learners and present to the peer group. Write a reflective journal entry Credit Value: 3 003: Using inclusive learning and teaching approaches in the lifelong learning sector Assessment: Write a lesson plan. Explain your rationale for the chosen approaches to teaching and learning. Present in the form of a micro session. Write a reflective journal entry and take part in the evaluation and feedback to others. Credit Value: 3 006: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment Assessment: A combination of written statements, a professional discussion, assignment, project. Credit Value: 3
