Those working in this sector have great people skills, often with a passion for style and looking good. learn all aspects of how a salon operates on a daily basis, gaining experience of booking appointments for customers, welcoming them to the salon whilst developing skills in their chosen specialism. This course is for those who wish to take steps towards a career in barbering or to work in a men's hairdressing salon. This is available as part of an apprenticeship. The barbering course will teach you all about the cutting and styling of men and boys hair, learning how to give client consultations, cut hair, trim and shape facial hair and shampoo and condition hair and scalp. These courses are work-based qualifications, so you will be learning through on-the-job practical training, providing you with the relevant skills and experience in order to continually progress your career.
