This two year, full time course is designed to give students practical experience in Performing Arts backed up with academic study to underpin and contextualise their knowledge. Academic studies involve research into the history of performing arts, working logs and evaluations of work undertaken, along with an approach to budgeting and marketing performances. Taught skills classes lead to performances in front of student audiences and invited guests in Year 1, and as major projects for the general public in Year 2. The course offers valuable experience for students interested in working in all aspects of the Performing Arts such as performers, technicians and administrators.
