The Subsidiary Diploma is delivered in year 1, on successful completion of which students can continue on to the Extended Diploma. The Extended Diploma is equivalent to three A Levels. If you want to develop your potential for creative work in the fashion industry then this course will give you the opportunity to explore a range of materials, media and technical skills associated with art and design in general and fashion design and textiles in particular. You will learn about the history of fashion, the different styles and trends that have come and gone and use what you have learnt to create new and exciting designs for the future.

Learners produce a portfolio of practical work and select work to be exhibited at an end of the year show. Assignments set will have an agreed hand in date that MUST be met in order to meet the awarding body guidelines.
