This fast track chef course will give you an introduction to the practical skills required to work in a professional kitchen. This could be in a hotel, contract catering, gastro pub or a restaurant chain. You will spend four days per week (four hours per day) in practical cookery sessions with one day per week studying theory and functional skills (English and Maths). You will study for the Level 1 Diploma Introduction to Professional Cookery and on successful completion could progress onto the Level 2 course at the College. You will also be aiming for employment as a chef.
