Certificate for Children's & Young People's Workforce Level 2 (September start)

This course is suitable for those over 19 years old who want to work with children and young people aged 0 to 19 years in schools, nurseries, creches or other childcare workplaces. You will study a wide range of modules and build up a portfolio of evidence for each module. Units include: - Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people - Child and young person development - Positive environments for children and young people - Supporting positive behaviour of children and young people - Equality and inclusion in children's and young people's settings Students are subject to direct observation in the workplace by trained assessors from the College with knowledge assessed via assignments or a portfolio of evidence. The course is held during school hours to suit the need of parents.
