This programme is designed to give an insight into life within each of the public services. It aims to provide an environment in which the potential public services employee can mature, to develop confidence, promote teamwork and an approach to life appropriate for the career of his/her choice. Example Modules/Areas of Study Students must study the following core modules: - Employment in the Uniformed Public Service - Public Service skills - Health and fitness for the Uniformed Public Services - Career planning for the Public Services Plus a selection of further modules including: - Adventurous activities and teamwork for the Public Services - Security procedures for the Public Services - Expedition skills
