Studies will include: Following health and safety, Client consultation, Shampoo and conditioning services, Promoting products and services, Cutting Women's hair, Cutting Men's hair,Colouring and lightening hair, Perm and neutralise hair, the Art of dressing hair and Styling Men's hair Each unit has practical assessments and a online test. Learners will undertake a programme of study in Personal and professional development and will need to undertake a minimum of 36 hours work experience during the course. Maths, English and ICT may also be studied, to enhance the learners skills throughout various aspects of the course.
