Fabrication & Welding Advanced Apprenticeship

Advanced Diploma VRQ is made up of nine units; two units are common core which are assessed by an external exam, and seven units are skills-specific to fabrication and welding, which include three welding processes, sheet and plate work and pattern development. These will be assessed on programme through short answer question assessments. The NVQ in Fabrication will be assessed by work completed within the company with units structured around the job role.
