Basic Upholstery - College Certificate

UPDATED 20150521 12:42:12

You will have the opportunity to work on your own individual projects at your own pace. Small items of furniture may be worked on, for example stools, boxes, small chairs, headboards and drop-in seats for dining room chairs. You will learn: How to use the specialist tools correctly and safely, how to strip off all of the old upholstery before replacing it with new fabric, how to re-upholster using traditional or modern methods (using foam instead of traditional stuffing methods).
