There are 13 units that are covered over the year in both a practical environment and classroom which include; health & safety, safe working practices, forming & joining, materials, components, vehicle construction, basic valeting, basic body repairs, basic paint spraying. Other topics that are compulsory to the course include; PPD (Personal & Professional Development), Functional skills Maths, English & ICT.
