Certificate of Progression for 5 weeks, which includes Maths and English at level 2 and Problem Solving. Successful completion should enable you to progress to the Access Diploma at level 3. The Access course is 31 weeks, this covers Maths, Mechanical Science, Electrical Science and Study Skills all at level 3. The course has been split into two parts<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = 'urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office' /> Weeks 1-5 Certificate of Progression, which has Maths and English at level 2. This will bring everyone to the same level. Progression from the certificate to the Access Diploma is dependent upon performance and attitude to study. Week 6 onwards Access to Higher Education Diploma, which is 60 credits at level 3. The Diploma includes 24 credits of Maths, 15 credits of Mechanical Science,12 credits of Electrical Science an 9 credits of Study Skills. Assessment is via assignments and portfolio.
