The level 2 qualification comprises of the following core units: Health, safety and welfare in Construction (this unit can be carried forward from Level 1) and Principles of building construction, information and communication. The following subject specialist units are also studied: Carry out first fix flooring and roofing, Carry out first fix frames, partitions and stairs, Carry out second fixing operations, Carry out carpentry maintenance, Set up and operate a circular saw. English, Maths, PPD and Work Experience are an integral part of this Study Programme and will form a substantial part of your timetable.
