The level 3 qualification comprises of the following core units: Health, safety and welfare in Construction (this unit can be carried forward from Level 1 or 2) and Principles of organising, planning and pricing Construction work. The following subject specialist units are also studied: Erecting and dismantling access equipment and working platforms (this unit can be carried forward from Level 2), Applying hangings to walls and ceilings, Producing specialist finishes for painted decorative work, Producing specialist architectural finishes for decorative work, Applying water-borne paint systems using airless equipment, Applying water-borne paint systems using High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP). English, Maths, PPD and Work Experience are an integral part of this Study Programme and will form a substantial part of your timetable.
