Carpentry & Joinery Diploma level 1

A mainly practical course that allows candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Carpentry or Joinery. The level 1 qualification comprises of the following core units: Health, safety and welfare in Construction and Principles of building construction, information and communication. The following subject specialist units are also studied: Produce woodworking joints, Prepare and use carpentry and joinery power tools, Maintain and use carpentry and joinery hand tools. English, Maths, PPD and Work Experience are in integral part of this Study Programme and will form a substantial part of your timetable.
