Photography BTEC HNC

Delivery is split into four units per year. Learning takes place through lectures, workshops and demonstrations. Moodle (VLE)will provide you with an online environment that you can access remotely. In year 1 you will be introduced to both digital and analogue materials and processes. Through project work you will practice within the; editorial, studio, advertising and portraiture genres. In year 2 the 'Managing a Creative Business' unit will give you the business knowledge, understanding and skills to work in the photographic industries. You will also be taught Photographies Histories to provide you with a critical understanding of the work of other practitioners. In terms of your photographic practice, you will start to develop your own personal photographic style and identify the pathway you wish to develop further.
