If you are unemployed and want to get some basic engineering skills to improve your chances of getting a job- this short course will give you a basic introduction to the industry. Run in conjunction with Wolverhampton Job Centre- the course will give you experience of working in an engineering and manufacturing workshop and a basic understanding of sheet metalwork and fabrication- welding techniques and the use of engineering equipment. As part of the course you will also get help with preparing for an interview and how to impress future employers.
