The mandatory units of this programme include: Level 2 - Help to improve own and team practice in schools, maintain and support relationships with children and young people and support learning activities. Level 3 - Support children and young peoples health and safety, understand child and young person development, understand how to safeguard the well-being of children and young people. You will also select from a range of optional units which may include: Level 2 - Provide displays in schools, support extra-curricular activities, support assessment for learning. Level 3 - Improving the attendance of children and young people in statutory education, support young people who are socially excluded or excluded from school, support learners with communication and interaction needs. One evening per week college attendance is optional.
