In addition to the six units that are studied for A Level Mathematics, if you choose to study Further Mathematics you will cover an additional three units for AS or six units for A Level. You will study a selection of units in Core Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanics and Decision Mathematics. You will also have the opportunity to take part in competitions such as the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust challenges, or 'The National Cipher Challenge' run by the University of Southampton.
