Annual performance meetings need not be dreaded! Learn the key steps to preparing and conducting a constructive performance meeting, together with helping your staff make the most of their meeting. The course will also include how to set objectives for your staff. You will have the opportunity to practice the skills learnt by holding an appraisal meeting with one of your fellow delegates and gain some feedback before you return to work and use your newly acquired skills. The course programme will include: Understanding the performance management cycle and the benefits of the system Planning a performance development meeting Assisting staff in planning their performance development meeting Setting and measuring objectives Giving and receiving constructive feedback
