This course is aimed at a wide range of students interested in careers in areas such as Accountancy, Sales and Marketing, Personnel, Retailing, as well as general business opportunities. The BTEC Level 3 Diploma is a practical, work-related course. Students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. Students will initially enrol onto the one year programme, equivalent to 1.5 A levels/3 AS levels. Successful achievement of this year will then allow progression onto year 2 of the programme. The two-year programme is equivalent to 3 A levels. The course is made up of 18 units over the course of the two years - four of which are mandatory units.
