This course prepares you with skills and knowledge in a variety of topics that will prepare you for the next level of education or a job in the Engineering Sector. You will need to be prepared to attend college 3 days per week and attend work experience. Examples of units you will study are: Working safely in an engineering environment Carrying out engineering activities efficiently and effectively Using and communicating technical information Making components using hand tools and fitting techniques Using lathes for turning operations Using milling machines. You will study 6 units and will have the opportunity to upgrade Maths and English GCSE subjects.
