Introduction to Basic Beekeeping

This is a two day course for beekeepers or potential beekeepers wanting to find out about honeybees and beekeeping. This course is based on the BBKA Basic syllabus which covers the manipulation of a honeybee colony, beekeeping equipment, the natural history of the honeybee, practical beekeeping and disease, poisoning and pests. Students with one year's experience with bees can take the BBKA Basic Assessment for an additional fee.
