The Access Diploma is an intensive one year course for those looking to progress to University to study a degree related to the areas of Nursing and Healthcare, Health and Social Care or other relevant disciplines. The course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed for University entry and as an alternative route to University for those lacking the necessary qualifications. You will study modules in Biology, Health, Psychology and Study Skills. Students attend college two evenings a week, plus some Saturday morning sessions for Study Skills and Support with UCAS application. You will also have tutorials throughout the year. As part of the Diploma you will undertake an independent academic study which allows to focus on an area specific to your chosen vocational or academic route.
