This level is ideal if you're hoping for a career in health and social care or are newly in post. It covers the basic knowledge that you will need and that you can build on. There are five qualifications available at this level: ?Level 1 Award in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care (4333-10) ?Level 1 Award in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings (4333-11) ?Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings (4333-13) ?Level 1 Diploma in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings (4333-15) ?Level 1 Award in Introduction to Health and Social Care (Adults, Children and Young People), Early Years and Childcare - Wales and Northern Ireland (4333-12) ?Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Health and Social Care (Adults, Children and Young People), Early Years and Childcare - Wales and Northern Ireland (4333-14). Each provides an introduction to working in the relevant area of health and social care. Units include: ?Awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion ?Introduction to the role of the social care worker ?Awareness of Duty of care.
