A Level Geography

The course covers the study of people and the environment. You will explore processes in the natural world, their impact on the landscapes around you and the effects of human development on natural systems. You will research case studies and take part in practical work, developing skills in graphical and statistical work and the interpretation of maps.Fieldwork is an important part of the course, allowing you to undertake first hand investigations, and there is one compulsory fieldwork residential as well as fieldwork activities that are locally based.Geography combines well with both arts and science subjects.
