Religion is a powerful force in our world, influencing the way people conduct their lives and shaping the way that people think. By studying the philosophy of religion and the Islamic faith you will develop an appreciation of the way in which religion shapes individuals£ and society£s moral and philosophical approaches to living, relationships and dying. You will also have the opportunity to explore, compare and contrast traditions including Islam, Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism. You will develop your skills in assessing evidence, analysis and discussion, and learn how to use evidence to support your own conclusions.
