The first few weeks of the course will contain some intensive algebra sessions to build on the skills you learned at GCSE and help you to make the transition to advanced level. In the second year you will build on the skills and knowledge from the AS, with more detailed study of the key areas. All students study two further pure maths modules, and another applied module, either mechanics, decision mathematics or statistics.
