This course is all about improving your confidence and personal skills. It is a personalised learning programme £ which means that it is tailored to what you need in order to progress on to further training, employment or study. You£ll learn to work confidently in a group, take part in practical activities and find out about work and study in different areas. There are three different pathways to choose from and we will work with you to decide which is right for you. All three pathways include areas like; Community and citizenship; Lifestyle factors and healthy living; Personal effectiveness; Preparation for work and career planning; Learning to learn and becoming an independent learner; Numeracy, English and ICT Functional Skills. This is the General Pathway where you will find out about opportunities in a range of different areas of interest to you to help you decide what you want to do next. This will include some practical activities, performance and developing presentation skills.
