Whether you are thinking of working in a repair garage or dream of running your own workshop, our VRQ Level 1 will introduce you to the automotive industry and provide you with the skills and training you need to develop a great career in the field. What will I be doing? Our hands-on course introduces you to the world of vehicle service and repair. You will learn a range of different procedures for working on cars, vans and light vehicles in our specialist workshop, which offers all the tools and equipment you would find in a professional dealership. In addition to actually working on cars, you will learn the theory you need to support your skills. You will learn all about the workings of engines, gearboxes, suspension, brakes and electrical systems. When you successfully complete the course, you will receive a 'Diploma in Light Vehicle Repair and Maintenance'.
