We will be using thread and fabric pieces to create a picture using an embroidery hoop and a darning foot.

Yes, you will need to have your own materials and equipment. We have Janome sewing machines available for you to use during this workshop. You will need to bring an embroidery hoop (7 or 8 inch), some sewing or machine embroidery threads in a few colours, some plain fabric to use as a background and any scraps of coloured/patterned fabrics you may have. Bondaweb will be available in class as well as lots of scraps of fabrics for you to use. Please wear suitable clothing and bring a notebook and pencil/pen. Will I need to do anything in my own time?
