You'll learn: excellent industry-level skills such as how to develop your creative hairdressing techniques, and how to achieve the latest looks with cut and colour. Expect: to be assessed throughout your course by practical tests and job simulations. You'll love: the industry focus of this course, working in our professional salon. You'll go on to: employment, an apprenticeship or further studies at level 2 on our Women's Hairdressing Diploma. If you have just left school and looking to begin your hairdressing career, then this course is for you! The Hairdressing and Barbering Level 1 Certificate is the first year of a two-year pathway to become a qualified hairdresser. Applicants for this course will be newcomers or recent school leavers. You will learn how to achieve the latest looks and gain a broad understanding of hairdressing.
