A good Law student will have an interest in people and society. You will be encouraged to develop analytical and reasoning skills while extending your reading materials and engaging in legal research. You should be willing to take an active part in discussion and debate and be keen to explore the consequences of human behaviour and punishment. Law is a fascinating subject which impacts on all of our lives. The course will appeal to students who are interested in how the legal system in England & Wales really works; have an interest in current affairs, are interested in human behaviour and those who want to develop their powers of analysis and communication. If you can look at situations objectively and are interested in a subject that will stand you in good stead throughout life, not just college, you should consider A-Level Law. Entry Requirements As with all A/AS-level subjects you must have at least five GCSEs at grade C or above, one of which should be English. In addition to this A Level Law requires a B grade in either English Language (other written subjects may also be considered).
