Ideal if: you want to work in the masonry area of construction You'll need: to attend an informal interview to discuss your suitability for the course You'll learn: through theory sessions and practical training covering essential industry areas such as health and safety, erecting masonry structures, efficient work practices, and moving resources Expect: to be assessed throughout your course You'll love: the industry focus of this course, equipping you for a successful career in construction You'll go onto: employment, an apprenticeship or further studies at level 3 on our Trowel Occupations (Construction) Diploma This course is aimed at people who wish to gain qualifications in the masonry area of construction. Qualifications are gained through assessment of competance in the workplace. This course can be studied either as part of an apprenticeship where you will be in the work place and attend college one or two days per week, or through OSAT (on site assessment training), for experienced construction workers who will gain the qualification whilst in the workplace by an assessor collecting evidence of competence.
