A 20 hour, 5 session course designed to introduce learners to the basics of woodland management. Sessions will develop skills in tree and plant identification, tree adn shrub management and how to work safely and create habtats for a wide variety of plants and animals. Tool use and safety are covered during the sessions and one session is devoted to understanding the process of planting new areas of woodand and sections of trees
