This one day, six hour, course is suitable for those that require the basic skills to cope in an emergency situation either at home, work, or in other life circumstances.It covers the following content:Introduction to First AidThe role of the first-aider including reference to:Assessing the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergencyRecovery positionCPRChokingWounds ; bleedingMinor injuriesObjectivesBy the end of the programme candidates will know clearly what to do in the event of an emergencyThe course is suitable for all levels of learners and appropriate needs can be taken into consideration for all learners.
