This Higher Apprenticeship in Hospitality Management has been developed for managers seeking to improve their leadership and management skills and to gain appropriate qualifications for their job role. It involves a combination of off the job training supported by on the job learning, coaching assessment. Managed self study is integrated into the employers requirement and can be a useful tool for succession planning and future staff recruitment. Applicants for this Higher Apprenticeship programme should have sufficient experience of working in the hospitality industry at a supervisory or at a management level. This ensures they have the necessary foundations on which to develop their knowledge , managerial skills and leadership. Throughout the programme Higher Hospitality Apprentices are supported and mentored by an experienced management trainer from HIT Training Ltd.
