BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Art and Design - Interior Design

The qualification recognises skills in interior design, and focuses on drawing, observational, and design skills in combination with design theory and history in order to prepare learners for vocational opportunities within the Interior Design industry. The course consists of a number of units covering all aspects of interior design, including: Introduction to Design Style/Professional Practice Studies; 19th and 20th Century Design; Colour Theory and Application; Perspective and Tonal Drawings; Survey - Room Interiors; Room Planning; Lighting; Domestic Space Design. You will also have the opportunity to study and gain a Functional Skills qualification in either Maths, English or ICT at the appropriate level.
