Floral Design- Church Flowers

This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to start church flower arranging, or for anyone looking to improve their floral design skills and build confidence to design and create different seasonal arrangements such as Easter, Weddings and Christmas. For beginners and improvers. To gain the knowledge and understand the elements and principles of design and their relevance to creating your arrangements. - During the day we will complete a floral Pedestal arrangement- We will look at ideal locations to complete flower arrangements in churches- How to secure the arrangements and complete them with a low budget- How to design a large scale arrangement for a church event

Entry requirements

Please bring a photograph of your church if possible?Please bring these floral items with you to the workshop:- PEDESTAL - any kind - the tutor will have a number of pedestals you can use during the workshop- Oasis bowl suitable to stand on the pedestal- Two to three blocks of oasis- Pot tape- Wire netting- A very good selection of foliage with long stems such as eucalyptus, conifers, pittosporum, pine, and larger leaves such as large ivy leaves- Flowers of your choice. For example youwill need around 20 stems of carnations andfive to seven large headed flowers such as sun flowers or chrysanthemums. Any small filler flowers such as alstroemeria- Please also bring a small selection of foliage and flowers to complete a small arrangement for your church.- The tutor will have lots of containers and oasis for sale on the day.
