These classes take you through the basics of the language and related cultures. You will learn how to communicate in situations that you are likely to encounter as a tourist and also learn the basic grammar. This 20 week course is for adult learners with little o no knowledge of the language,who want an introduction to the French language and want to use it when on holiday in France. You will learn the basics of the French language to enable you to communicate in situations that you are likely to encounter as a tourist. The course involves all 4 language skills:- Speaking the language in class (including role-play),- Reading short texts and answering questions,- Writing notes and letters used for the course portfolio,- Listening to the teacher and audio&video material.There will also be some focus on grammar, such as the use of the present tense and how to use nouns and adjectives.
