Qualify as a professional beauty therapist on this full time one year course covering theory and practical topics of manicure, pedicure facials, make- up and eye and waxing treatments. Continually assessed. Anyone wishing to practice Beauty Therapy. Students will be required to complete an application form and attend an informal interview before being accepted on the course. please note; Daytime attendance is held over 2 days - one year x 36 weeks on a Tuesday and Wednesday09:30 - 15:30. Ideally, to support your practical skills you will gain some salon experience during your course in part time employment To provide the practical skills and the underlying theory required to practice beauty therapy techniques at level 2 within a realistic working environment. It will start you on long career in the beauty industry. There are 9 units in total. Three core mandatory units are theory based for risk assessment, health and safety, promoting services and being an effective team member. The 6 practical units are for facials, eye treatements, waxing services, manicure and pedicure and make up.
