Cleaning and Support Service duties cover a variety of job roles within a wide range of organisations. You could work as a hygiene operative, specialist cleaner, window cleaner, caretaker, food premises cleaner and passenger transport valet. On the Apprenticeship you will undertake: Certificate in Cleaning and Support Service Skills Level 2 the choice of units will depend on your job role and duties; Certificate in Cleaning Principles; Employee Rights and Responsibilities; Personal Learning and Thinking Skills; Functional Skills Level 1 in English and Maths.

The evidence of assessments confirming competence of practice will be compiled with contributions from you and your assessor. You will sit externally set and marked multiple choice questions for the Certificate in Cleaning Principles. Functional skills is assessed through an examination.
