The Engineering Manufacture framework at level 3 is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and competence requirements to operate at craft or technician level as appropriate within your employment sector. On successful completion of the apprenticeship programme you may progress on Higher Education depending on your employer's needs. Training and assessment will take place at College during your first year (this may involve full time or part time college attendance) followed in the second subsequent year by college based day release. Your will also undertake work based training, as appropriate, throughout the length of your apprenticeship programme. As an apprentice you are required to achieve the following competence and knowledge based qualifications to ensure that you build a rounded set of skills. Competence qualification Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in a relevant engineering pathway.
