This course is for people who are currently teaching / training in post-16 or who have 50 hours of such teaching / training confirmed for the coming academic year. This is the nationally accepted qualification for teachers in post-compulsory education and training and is validated by the University of Brighton. If you are interested in moving into teaching in this sector but have no teaching hours in place, then the Preparing to Teach course will be appropriate. This course develops teachers'practical skills and theoretical knowledge. If you do not have any teaching hours confirmed for next year we may be able to assist with a placement - please call us to discuss if this applies to you.
