Primarily aimed at people working in the care/support sector or where one is working with other people. Substance misuse will be considered as an incidental element of the participants role. This course will increase your knowledge about substances used in UK society. We will look at Facts concerning substances available in the UK today. Our own feelings and thoughts about substances and consider how this influences our approach to helping people who use substances. Review models of help that is also available for people who may wish to look at substance use. You will by the end of the course be aware of substance classifications understand more about drugs and their effects how to signpost when needed and where you can find more information on this subject matte
