This two year course is ideal for students who are totally focused on a career and/or higher level course in sport. It is very practically based and includes how the body works and adapts to exercise; coaching and sports development; team and individual sports; outdoor and adventurous activities. In the second year all students complete a work placement in a sport related field. There is also an opportunity to be part of a successful exchange to Sweden, where students experience a different culture and complete part of their outdoor and adventurous activity module there experiencing winter sports, such as downhill and cross country skiing, skating and ice hockey.
