The course aims to prepare students for progression to Higher Education. Learners will be introduced to and supported to master essential study skills and academic approaches to enable them to move forward successfully. Students will have the opportunity to develop a high level of understanding of subject areas they have a particular interest in and have chosen to explore in detail. Students will have the opportunity to work with aspects of English Literature English Language Sociology Criminology and Applied Psychology. Students will also be supported through Maths IT and tutorial sessions.
