Apprenticeships allow 16+ year olds to start work and earn a wage while learning new skills that lead to nationally recognised qualifications. Apprenticeships are designed with the help of employers in the industry so they offer a structured programme that takes Apprentices through the skills needed to do a job well. Most of an Apprentices training takes place on the job but they will also have to complete off:the:job training within the College.This course is for anyone aspiring to be a Spa Therapist and will cover all aspects of theory and practical on:Body Massage.Stone Therapy. Electrical Facials.Spa Treatments. Health & Safety. Finance.Detailed Anatomy & Physiology. You will practice these treatments at our modern Tees Style Two commercial Beauty Salon and within your Apprenticeship placement. You may have the opportunity to undertake additional optional qualifications (may incur an additional cost).Maths and English will also form an important and mandatory part of your course. Achievement of these and a Technical Certificate will result in the achievement of the full Level 3 framework.The apprentice NMW applies to all 16 to 18 year old apprentices and to those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. If the apprentice is aged 19 and / or has completed the first year of their Apprenticeship the employer must pay the NMW appropriate for their age.
