This course may be of particular interest to those wishing to concentrate on more hands:on practical activities that will lead onto Level 2 and into employment as a Technician. At the end of this course you will have demonstrated your competence in the Engineering workplace by building up a portfolio of evidence.Level 1 will be ideal if you are just starting out on your Engineering career and require a broad range of competencies to enable safe progression into the workplace.Units will include:: Working Safely in an Engineering Environment.: Carrying out Engineering Activities Efficiently and Effectively.: Working Efficiently and Effectively in Engineering.: Using and Communicating Technical Information.: Producing Components Using Hand Fitting Techniques.: Preparing and Using Lathes for Turning Operations.: Preparing and using Milling Machines.
